The position emphasizes Wine and Spirits knowledge, territory planning, effective presentations, and strong communication as you build lasting relationships with customers while ensuring accurate accounts receivable and strict adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or related industry experience.
• Prior route sales experience preferred.
• WSET certifications and/or Sommelier preferred; territory knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).

Responsibilities

• Territory Management: Ensure consistent customer contact, plan and execute sales initiatives, handle customer issues promptly.
• Selling: Understand products/pricing, deliver effective presentations, grow business, identify and nurture new accounts.
• Merchandising: Use POS to enhance selling, optimize display size, shelf position and standards.
• Servicing: Conduct sales calls, perform inventory checks, minimize order mistakes, rotate products on shelves.
• Administration: Adhere to company policies and handle paperwork properly.
