Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, seeks Sales Consultants to manage territories including Hickory, Granite Falls, Lenoir, Wilkesboro, and Taylorsville. You will drive sales, service accounts, and merchandise shelves while delivering engaging product promotions and tastings.

Responsibilities include route planning, inventory awareness, and presenting displays; candidates should understand beer, wine, and spirits, with strong customer service skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training/work experience preferred.
• An understanding of wine and spirits is required; on-premise sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient PC skills using MS Office and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Strategies/preplans to achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
• Call on accounts and cover daily routes with an established routing pattern.
• Analyze account base and identify opportunities; ensure national account compliance where applicable.
• Deliver professional sales presentations and promote displays, new products, and promotions.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert management to fluctuations in demand.
• Achieve distribution, volume, and activity goals for supplier brands.
• Maintain brand visibility and account standards with POS materials.
• Restock shelves and manage product levels in accounts.
• Manage accounts receivable and process credits/returns.
• Educate account staff on priority brands and assist with new account openings.
• Attend sales meetings and complete training programs; maintain confidentiality.
