Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive territory sales, manage accounts, and promote products. You will conduct in-store tastings, merchandize, and service accounts along a defined NC territory including Hickory, Granite Falls, Lenoir, Wilkesboro, and Taylorsville.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and driving skills; a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Understanding of wine and spirits required; on-premise experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication, accounting, and interpersonal skills; able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient PC skills, MS Office, and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Strategies to achieve sales and merchandising objectives; maintain accurate account information.
• Calls on accounts and covers daily routes with an established pattern.
• Builds displays, restocks shelves, and promotes products at stores.
• Delivers professional sales presentations and educates staff on priority brands.
• Manages accounts receivable, credits, and returns as needed.
• Maintains strong supplier relationships and participates in sales meetings.
