Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking a Wine and Spirits Sales Consultant for the Oahu area. Focus will be in the On-Premise sector (bars, restaurants, hotels, venues). The role covers territory management, selling, merchandising and servicing, with emphasis on building relationships, presenting products, and achieving company sales objectives.

Qualifications

BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
Prior route sales experience (highly preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Goals and results driven.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).

Responsibilities

Territory Management: Ensure consistent customer contact; plan and execute sales initiatives; handle customer issues promptly and amicably.
Selling: Understand products and pricing; make effective sales presentations; meet company objectives and grow business; identify and nurture new accounts.
Merchandising: Use POS to enhance selling efforts.
Servicing: Conduct sales calls, perform inventory checks, communicate to minimize order mistakes; rotate products on shelves and displays.
Administration: Adhere to company policies; handle paperwork timely and properly.
