Job summary

Total Wine & More in Lansing is seeking a Store Team Member (Merchandiser) to support inventory, merchandising, and online operations. You will stock, build displays, process freight, and assist with curbside pickup and delivery as needed.

You will greet customers, share product knowledge, participate in wine, spirits, and beer training, and help maintain compliance with alcohol laws. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; 21+ age requirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe store environment.
• Load and deliver orders safely if delivery is an essential function.
