Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a Merchandiser to join our store team in a role focused on merchandising, customer service, and supporting online/offline operations. You will maximize inventory, build displays, process freight, and assist with curbside/delivery services when needed.

The position requires 1-3 years retail experience, flexibility with scheduling (including evenings/weekends), and familiarity with POS systems and inventory software. 21+ age may apply due to alcohol regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience; 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing/distributing inventory, stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations.
• Greet customers, deliver exceptional service, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and ensure compliance with alcohol-related laws.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely if delivery is an essential function.
