Job summary

Total Wine & More in Kansas is seeking an energetic Merchandiser to support inventory, displays, signage, and curbside orders while delivering excellent customer service. You will stock and merchandize, assist online orders, learn promotions, and comply with alcohol laws.

1–3 years retail preferred; 21+; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include engaging customers, knowledge-building, and maintaining safe, clean store operations, while loading and delivering

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical requirements: must be 21 years of age or older; walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day; safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly; may be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws.
