Job summary

Margin is hiring part-time Brand Ambassador / Sales Associates to engage shoppers near displays, introduce wines and spirits, and help customers discover products they’ll love. This role focuses on sales and education rather than stocking or cashier duties.

You’ll enjoy conversations with strangers and feel rewarded when someone leaves with a bottle they’re excited about. Hours are 18 per week: Thursday 3 PM–7 PM, Friday 1 PM–8 PM, Saturday 12 PM–7 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old with valid ID.
• Comfortable approaching strangers and starting conversations.
• Reliable transportation to work location.
• Comfortable standing for 4-8 hours and proactive customer engagement.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Available for the full weekly schedule (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).
• Reliable attendance; small team and no-shows impact the business.
• Restaurant, bar, or wine retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers on the sales floor with a warm, low-pressure approach.
• Pitch featured house-label products using product knowledge provided.
• Answer questions about wine and spirits selection, pairings, and value.
• Keep featured displays neat and well-stocked during your shift.
• Report shift sales counts to the manager at the end of each shift.
