ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is seeking Assistant Sales Consultants to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a busy retail setting. You will greet guests, promote products across wine, spirits, beer and cigars, and ensure shelves are clean, stocked, and well-merchandised.

Training and product knowledge are emphasized, with opportunities to participate in wine tastings and events. The role requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required, though previous customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon entry and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Learn and share knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, cigars, and other products to promote sales.
• Support merchandising and operations by keeping shelves clean, organized, and stocked.
• Stay current on training, policies, and product knowledge to ensure an informed guest experience.
• Operate a POS system accurately, handling payments and applying discounts.
• Maintain responsible vendor status for alcohol & tobacco purchases while using POS and wine taps.
