Job summary

Chateau Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, GA is seeking a Wine Steward to serve guests with hospitality and expert beverage service. You will prepare and present wines, maintain station readiness, and ensure compliance with all liquor regulations during a full-time on-site shift.

Ideal candidates have hotel or resort service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift trays up to 30 lbs. Training and discount benefits are provided as part of HEI Hotels and Resorts' program.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
• Ability to use point of sale computer.
• Full knowledge of state liquor laws.
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hospitably greet, prepare and serve drinks to guests according to beverage service standards.
• Abide by all state and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Prepare station for readiness prior to opening and closing of each shift.
• Follow cash handling and bank procedures.
• Perform side work duties and maintain attendance as scheduled.
