Sotheby’s Retail Wine Store is hiring to support daily store operations, assist clients, and process orders. The role includes analyzing purchase history, inventory levels, and market conditions to identify sales opportunities, while maintaining accurate arrivals in-store and in the ERP system.

The position offers base pay of $18–$22 per hour with overtime eligibility and a discretionary bonus plus competitive benefits. Weekend shifts and overtime may be required during peak periods.

This role is responsible for assisting working in our Retail Wine Store to sell wine, process client orders, and provide client service, and to conduct sales opportunity analysis based on past purchase history, inventory availability and overall market conditions for direct outreaches. The role is also responsible for providing administrative support for buying, receiving, cataloging and/or inspecting new arrivals.

This role is on a five days a week schedule, but may include Saturdays and Sundays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting in retail store including opening store, greeting clients, answering phones, etc.
• Receiving wine from suppliers at the store
• Restocking the shelves
• Assisting with store merchandising as needed
• Assisting in maintaining the store appearance
• Applying barcodes to bottles
• Analyze purchase history by channel, available inventory, incoming inventory, and overall market to identify sales opportunity.
• Send and/or prepare outreach email by creating templates.
• Create items in the ERP system
• Create POs in the ERP system
• Inspect and confirm new arrivals at the warehouse and/or the store

The proposed base salary for this position is $18-$22 per hour, and is eligible for overtime compensation. In addition to base salary successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, as well as a competitive benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
