Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Brandon, FL to lead a store team and deliver best-in-class service in a distinctive beverage retail environment. You will drive sales, coach staff, and oversee operations to build a strong service culture and profitability.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will work with vendors, maintain product knowledge, inventory controls, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience in retail; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve key performance metrics.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team; develop product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising, and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all laws related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe store environment.
