Job summary

Landed in Tampa is seeking a skilled sommelier to actively take wine and beverage orders and provide expert guidance on wine pairings to enhance dining experiences. You will interact with guests and team members, maintaining hospitality standards and accurate order entry in the POS system.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of sommelier experience, a recognized wine program certificate, and deep knowledge of wine service techniques, temperatures, glassware, and decanting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Sommelier experience or Tao Group Hospitality experience.
• Certificate from an accredited wine program required.
• Knowledge of proper wine service techniques, proper serving temperatures, glassware selection, and decanting.
• Fundamental knowledge of the world’s wine regions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cocktails and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Actively takes wine and beverage orders and provides expert wine pairings.
• Interact with guests and team members in a courteous manner.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and maintain wine stations.
• Lead staff education sessions on wine service and pairings.
• Ensure compliance with health standards and alcohol regulations.
