Job summary

Jackson Family Wines seeks an Estate Manager to lead the Los Olivos Brewer-Clifton and Cambria teams. The role emphasizes strong leadership, sales growth, and delivering memorable guest experiences within the Direct-to-Consumer channel.

The candidate will recruit and train top talent, manage tasting room operations, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet revenue and guest service goals. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in retail, sales, or tasting room management.
• Proven track record in direct sales and growing the business.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with POS and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Manages all tasting room operations: sales plans, customer service, inventory accuracy, cash reconciliation, shipping orders, profitability, staff hiring and training, and local events.
• Coaches and develops estate team members to deliver top-tier customer service, wine education, hospitality, and sales.
• Monitors sales trends and budgets to meet revenue targets and profitability goals.
• Promotes the winery and builds a client base of top-tier collectors through events and outreach, including travel.
• Manages trade appointments to ensure bookings are confirmed and executed smoothly.
• Directs staff at events and coordinates with outside vendors to execute programs.
