FirstService Residential in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, seeks a Server to engage residents in the dining program, oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, and assist with catering and events. You will be the face of the dining experience, upholding standards with warmth and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving, multitasking and interpersonal skills are essential to serve residents across shifts and support a seamless dining experience for all residents and guests.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Explain the chef's specialties; identify appropriate wines; answer food preparation questions.
• Stay updated on current menu choices, specials and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of items.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording resident choices; identifying resident special dietary needs and requests.
• Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
• Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
• Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; watching for spills.
• Open and pour wine at tableside.
• Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; returning card slips to Resident.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
