Job summary

FirstService Residential in Naples, FL is seeking a friendly Server to engage residents with the community dining program. You will handle daily restaurant and bar operations, catering, and special events while upholding our service standards and values.

As part of a full-time, non-exempt team, you’ll work Tuesday through Sunday, 12 PM to 10 PM. The role offers a competitive wage of $14 per hour plus 18% auto gratuity and benefits, with opportunities for training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
• Must be able to explain the chef's specialties; identify appropriate wines; answer food preparation questions
• Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording resident choices; identifying Resident special dietary needs and special requests
• Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars
• Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process
• Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
• Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
• Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; returning credit card and signature slip to Resident
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
