Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a friendly Server to interact with residents and support daily dining operations across the community restaurant, bar, catering, and events. You will represent the dining experience with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to service standards.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, and a focus on safety and sanitation. Competitive hourly pay plus tips is offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant for lunch by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol policies to protect patrons.
• Explain chef's specialties and wine pairings; answer questions on food prep.
• Stay updated on menu choices and kitchen item availability.
• Record orders, note dietary needs, and deliver to bar/kitchen.
• Serve dishes and accompaniments; respond to patron needs and inquiries.
• Maintain table settings, replenish utensils and water, observe spills.
• Open and pour wine tableside; manage payments and bills.
• Contribute to team results and perform related tasks as needed.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed.
