Job summary

Starling at Ponte Vedra in Florida is seeking a dining room supervisor to help our culinary team shine, motivate staff, and ensure efficient restaurant operation.

The ideal candidate will serve as liaison between kitchen and front of the house, assist with recruiting, training and development, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service. Experience as lead server in high-volume settings and strong training skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as lead server or in a similar role within a high-volume setting.
• Experience in customer service training and staff development.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties andResponsibilities

• Excellent communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Become the liaison between the kitchen and the front of the house.
• Assist withrecruiting,training and development programs for all staff.
• Monitor employee dress code.
• Perform Dining Room opening and closing duties, and ensure all servers are trained to perform.
• Attend management and staff meetings.
• Interact withResidents byanswering questions, solving problems, overseeing services, taking reservations andintroducing him or herself to prospective Residentson tours.
• Undertake special projects as requested.
• Respond efficiently and accurately toResidentcomplaints.
• Organize and superviseFront of the House team membershifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Experience:
