Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Server to manage resident interactions within the dining program, from restaurant operations to catering and events. The role requires diplomacy in a fast-paced environment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while delivering excellent service.

Schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday with compensation of $15.00 per hour plus tips. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work various shifts; AEDT process may be used.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant for lunch/dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils.
• Explain chef's specialties; identify appropriate wines; answer food questions.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen; note dietary needs and special requests.
• Serve orders; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
• Maintain table settings; replenish utensils; refill water; respond to patron needs.
• Open and pour wine at tableside; handle billing and payments.
