Job summary

Sixty Vines in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a friendly host to welcome guests, manage reservations, and guide guests through the dining experience. You will maintain a clean, organized dining area and provide information on menu items, wine features, and daily specials.

The role emphasizes timely arrivals, professional appearance, excellent English communication, and the ability to assist guests with questions or needs. E-Verify compliance may be part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Prior restaurant experience is desirable but not required.
• Energetic, professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and be ready to work.
• Maintain proper uniform, dress, makeup, hair and jewelry.
• Offer alternative times when requested slots are unavailable.
• Calculate, note, and quote accurate wait times.
• Suggest the bar for cocktails and appetizers when the wait is long.
• Keep floors and entryways clean and free of debris.
• Assist in bussing tables when needed.
• Provide directions and guest assistance as required.
• Thank departing guests and welcome returning guests.
• Be familiar with hours, menu items, prices, directions, and contact information.
