Job summary

Sixty Vines is seeking a friendly host/hostess to greet guests, manage reservations, and seat diners in a timely, hospitable manner. You will ensure a welcoming entrance and smooth seating flow, with attention to uniform and professional appearance.

As the first point of contact, you will answer phone inquiries, provide information on daily specials, and guide guests to the appropriate seating while maintaining the restaurant’s high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a hospitable, timely manner.
• Arrive on time for shifts and maintain a presentable appearance.
• Accept and book reservations with proper uniforms and etiquette.
• Offer alternatives when preferred times are unavailable.
• Estimate and communicate accurate wait times to guests.
• Encourage guests to enjoy the bar for cocktails if waiting is long.
• Keep lobby, hostess stand, and restrooms clean and organized.
