Job summary

Sixty Vines Nashville is seeking a friendly host to greet guests, seat diners, and guide them to tables in a warm, timely manner. The role includes managing reservations, answering phones, and maintaining a clean entrance area.

You will work with a hospitable team, wear a proper uniform, and uphold excellent guest service standards. Friday and Saturday availability is required; E-Verify participation applies.

Qualifications

• Fun, energetic and professional attitude at all times while working.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Prior restaurant experiences is desired, but not required.
• MUST have Friday and Saturday availability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat all guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
• Proper uniform should be worn at all times including dress, make up, hair, and jewelry.
• When there is not the guests' desired time available, offering an alternative time slot or option to ensure the guest joins us.
• Calculate, note, and quote accurate wait times.
• When the wait is extensive, offer the bar for cocktails and appetizers before heading to the table for dinner.
• Keep floors, entry, and aisle ways clean and free of debris.
• Assist in bussing tables, when we are on a wait or in need of a table immediately.
• Provide guest right of way and assist guests needing directions around the restaurant.
• Genuinely thank all departing guests for dining with us, and welcome all guests joining us.
• Be familiar with all restaurant information to answer guest questions or address concerns.
• Answer all phone calls and fulfill guest needs; direct calls to proper department; communicate important information to managers on duty.
