Job summary

PRP Wine International in Michigan is hiring a Wine Consultant for a hybrid, full-time role serving private clients with in-home and virtual wine tastings. You will promote wine sales, manage client relationships, schedule tastings, and participate in community events.

Qualifications

• Passion or knowledge of wine required.
• Participation in community events.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Open to coaching and feedback.
• Enjoy client interaction and building relationships.
• Comfortable with outbound calls to schedule tastings.
• Ability to cultivate long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Promote the sale of wine by the case through new client acquisition and retention.
• Attend weekly sales meetings.
• Manage orders and sample requests using our computer system.
• Identify local charities and events for collaboration.
• Report weekly sales figures.
• Schedule and confirm appointments with clients.
• Maintain a client database for event invitations and exclusives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and news.
