Job summary

PRP Wine International is seeking a full-time Wine Consultant to join our Chicago-area team. You will schedule 3–5 in-home wine samplings weekly, attend office meetings, and participate in weekly events and evenings/weekend activities.

A passion for wine and meeting new people is essential, with flexibility in a nontraditional schedule. We offer training and ongoing support in a performance-driven environment with uncapped commissions, lead generation assistance, and a generous wine discount

Qualifications

• Interest/Knowledge in wine.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Organized and coachable with strong communication.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with clients and building relationships.
• Comfortable calling existing and prospective clients to set wine tastings.
• Ability to generate and manage long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly sales meetings.
• Enter orders and sample orders into our computer system.
• Research local events to participate in.
• Report weekly sales figures.
• Call clients to confirm and book appointments.
• Maintain a client database and invite to events.
• Stay updated on wine industry news and trends.
