Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Windows and VMware Server Administrator to provide operational support for the customer enterprise environment. You will manage virtualization infrastructure, patching, and documentation while ensuring stability and compliance.

The role requires 5 years with a BS/BA or 9 years with a HS Diploma, plus hands-on experience with MECM, VMware vSphere, and PowerShell scripting. This position involves a 8-5 ET schedule and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5 years with BS/BA or 9 years with HS Diploma.
• 5 years hands-on compute infrastructure in physical/virtual/cloud environments.
• Experience with MECM, VMware vSphere, and on-premise environments.
• PowerShell scripting for automation of admin tasks and provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain virtualization infrastructure including provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, automation.
• Maintain systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for supported systems.
• Perform regular maintenance, patching and upgrades to ensure stability.
• Ensure compliance of all hardware, equipment, and configurations.
• Evaluate and implement changes to meet strategic plans.
