Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Windows System Administrator for the DOL ITOM program to provide expert support in a multitenancy environment. You will manage Active Directory, SCCM, and virtualized Windows servers/desktops, including Hyper-V and VMware, to ensure secure, reliable operation across clients.

You will work with systems admins, DBAs, and developers on configuration, reporting, and incident resolution, while contributing to documentation and release planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience, or an associate degree with 7+ years, or HS diploma with 9+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• 5+ years supporting Windows Server OS and patch management.
• 3+ years supporting Citrix environments.
• 3+ years in Microsoft BI stack: SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS.
• 2+ years in CAB meetings and production change approvals.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience deploying and supporting core MS technologies in large multi-tenant environments.
• Expertise in AD design, migration, and management; SCCM for patch mgmt; strong documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME for AD, SCCM, Hyper-V and VMware in a multitenancy environment.
• Create reporting solutions and reports for team and customers.
• Collaborate with engineering groups to deliver value to customers.
• Ensure security and management of Windows servers and desktops in prod and non-prod.
• Plan and execute releases; assist in disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Respond to severity escalations and coordinate with DBAs and developers to resolve issues.
