Job summary

ComNet Communications LLC seeks a Windows System Administrator to design, implement, and support internal and external networks and systems. You will guide desktop staff and ensure robust IT operations across the organization.

The role includes hands-on server and desktop support, security-minded infrastructure, and collaboration with vendors. Travel to regional sites may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Windows server/desktop operating systems and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with ERP systems is not required.

Responsibilities

• Purchase, configure, upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers and monitors.
• Mentor and develop desktop staff.
• Develop and maintain IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and security.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Secure network by managing access, monitoring usage, and analyzing logs.
• Provide remote support to regional data centers and field offices (some travel).
• Document internal IT and end-user processes; lead requirements gathering.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party contractors for projects and services.
• Research and recommend applications, equipment, upgrades, patches.
• Pursue ongoing education and professional development.
