Job summary

CompuOne Corporation, a San Diego-based full-service managed IT services provider, seeks a Network Administrator to design, manage, and secure enterprise networks across client sites. The role requires 2+ years in network administration, proficiency with switches, routers, firewalls, and Microsoft environments (Office 365, Active Directory).

Travel to client locations is expected with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of network administration and IT infrastructure experience.
• Proven expertise in switching, routing, and firewall management.
• Advanced knowledge of network security practices and access controls.
• Strong command of Microsoft environments, including Office 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience managing virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Azure).
• Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable network infrastructure.
• Analyze and resolve IT problems for efficient resolution.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues with vendor coordination.
• Configure VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS, and security protocols.
• Manage VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure environments.
• Oversee audits, documentation, and disaster recovery planning.
• Travel to client sites locally as needed (mileage reimbursed).
