Astrion is seeking a Systems Administrator II (Windows) in Dahlgren, VA to support U.S. Navy enterprise IT operations. The role requires on-site work, Top Secret clearance, and DoD-compliant cyber workforce qualifications.

Responsibilities include administering Windows networks/servers, implementing security controls, backups, and performance tuning to ensure mission-critical operations. Must be US citizen with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• 4+ years of professional experience administering Windows networks/OS/software.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance and eligibility for ongoing clearance background checks.
• DoD Cyber Workforce requirements; Information Assurance Technician Level II designation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows networks, servers, OS, and software for Navy missions.
• Install, configure, and sustain hardware, Windows OS, software, accounts, and services.
• Perform backup/recovery, security management, and resource allocation.
• Monitor configurations, capacity, performance, and tuning for reliability.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, network, and user-access issues.
• Maintain TCP/IP and secure connectivity within enterprise networks.
• Configure and maintain network security tools (firewalls/IDS).
• Develop system specs and technical documentation.
• Support procurement activities for IT hardware/software.
