Astrion is hiring a Systems Administrator II to support U.S. Navy enterprise IT operations in Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on on-site administration, maintenance, security, and support for Windows-based networks, servers, software systems, and related infrastructure.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of Windows admin experience, a DoD Top Secret clearance, and IA II designation. Relevant certifications and DoD cyber workforce compliance are highly valued.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 4+ years of professional Windows administration experience.
• Must meet DoD IA Technician Level II workforce requirements.
• Must comply with DoD Cyber Workforce requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows networks, servers, operating systems, and apps supporting Navy ops.
• Install, configure, and sustain hardware, Windows OS, and software; manage accounts and services.
• Perform system backup/recovery, security management, and resource allocation.
• Monitor configurations, capacity, and performance; tune systems for optimization.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, network, and user-access issues.
• Maintain proficiency with TCP/IP and secure connectivity within enterprise networks.
• Configure and maintain network security tools like firewalls and antivirus.
