Bowhead is seeking a Systems Administrator (Windows) to support NSWCDD in Dahlgren, VA. The role requires Top Secret eligibility and DoD IT credentials, with 3+ years of IT experience and Windows/Office 365 proficiency.

You will diagnose issues, install software, coordinate with the IT desk, and assist in accreditation efforts. Target salary range is $75,000–$80,000 annually, with security clearance and US citizenship prerequisites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional IT experience.
• High School Diploma required; BA/BS preferred.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification required (Security+ce, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security).
• Experience with Windows operating systems and Office 365.
• Familiarity with DOD networking and RMF/STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about Windows 11 PCs, software and usage.
• Apply advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Coordinate with Corporate IT Help Desk and ServiceNow.
• Assist with system accreditation and RMF/STIGs.
• Prepare monthly progress and status reports.
