Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a proactive Windows Administrator to join its remote team in Mexico. You will maintain Windows and Linux-based applications, ensure system stability, and provide end-user support across global environments.

The role requires 3+ years in Windows administration, strong scripting with PowerShell, and proven experience in AD, DNS/DHCP, and virtualization technologies such as VMware/Hyper-V. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Windows administration and application support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Install, Configure and maintain Windows Servers (e.g. Windows Server 2016/2019/2022)
• Monitor system performance, availability and security
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and other Windows services
• Manage Exchange 2016/2019 server and Office 365 Exchange Online environments
• Perform regular system updates, patches and backups
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery strategies
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain applications
• Identify and automate alerts/processes with Engineering team
• Improve infrastructure stability by analyzing patterns and failures
• Utilize ML-based tooling to monitor health and automate restoration
