Job summary

Veridic Solutions LLC in Evanston, IL is seeking a capable IT System Administrator to maintain Windows servers, AD, DNS, and Office 365, while delivering strong customer service to executives, managers, staff and vendors.

You will work with MMC, Server Manager, PowerShell, VMware/Hyper-V, and contribute to security and documentation. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 3–5 years' experience in similar roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is ideal.
• 3–5 years of Windows server administration experience.
• 3–5 years of desktop/network/hardware and software support experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication with executives, managers, staff, and vendors.
• Experience with Windows MMC, Server Manager, PowerShell, and Windows Services.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory domain and trusts; DNS and networking protocols.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Onboarding/offboarding users experience.
