Job summary

RELI Group is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage enterprise IT infrastructure, ensure uptime, and support users. The role covers Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, Exchange/O365, and virtualization platforms, with emphasis on security, backups, and incident resolution.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in sysadmin and helpdesk, strong Windows/AD expertise, and familiarity with virtualization tools. Onsite work in Windsor Mill, MD is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in system administration and helpdesk support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange/O365, DNS, DHCP, and group policy management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Tier 2 IT issues across hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup solutions.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Excellent communication skills and a user-focused mindset.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and monitor corporate systems including servers (Windows/Linux), Active Directory, Exchange/O365, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and backups.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 hardware, software, and network issues escalated from the helpdesk.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes including provisioning accounts, hardware, and software.
• Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning and resource optimization.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and assist in audits as required.
• Provide support for remote users, VPN, and mobile device management (MDM).
