Job summary

Epic is seeking a Windows Server Engineer on our Madison-area campus with relocation support. The role involves designing, deploying, and operating Windows-based application delivery platforms that support Epic staff, customers, and global training programs.

You'll join the Application Delivery workgroup to build secure, scalable infrastructure and contribute to automation, security hardening, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting Windows Server-based application infrastructure.
• Experience with web application hosting (IIS) and remote application platforms (Citrix).
• Proficiency with scripting or programming; PowerShell experience is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service mindset.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate application delivery platforms for Epic staff, customers, and global training programs.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable Windows-based infrastructure powering training environments, hosted client systems, and testing platforms.
• Blend hands-on infrastructure engineering with automation and security hardening.
• Collaborate across teams to support a growing, complex services set.
