Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Windows System Administrator to manage on‑premises and Azure environments, ensuring security, performance, and reliability. The role requires collaboration with infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, and application teams to support enterprise services.

Hybrid position based in Oak Park Heights, MN. Responsibilities include patching, incident response, automation, DR planning, and platform lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of enterprise Windows systems administration experience.
• Experience supporting Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, or 2025.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise file services.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Azure services, and enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments across on‑premises and Microsoft Azure platforms.
• Monitor server health, capacity, performance, availability, and utilization to ensure reliable operations.
• Perform operating system patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening.
• Support enterprise virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere and cloud-hosted infrastructure.
• Participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support for planned maintenance and critical production incidents.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related identity services.
