Andersen Corporation in Oak Park Heights, MN is seeking a Linux System Administrator to maintain enterprise Linux infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, and performance for critical business and manufacturing systems.

The role collaborates with application, database, network, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to deliver automated, standardized, and highly reliable technology solutions, with on-call support and incident response responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Red Hat technologies (RPM, Yum/DNF, SELinux, firewalld, LVM, sudo, Red Hat Satellite).
• Experience with automation and scripting technologies including Ansible (AAP), Ansible, Bash, Python, and Git-based workflows.
• Experience supporting enterprise monitoring, backup, recovery, and virtualization platforms.
• Understanding of security best practices, patching, vulnerability remediation, access management, and least-privilege principles.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support RHEL servers across physical, virtual, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, access controls, file systems, storage, and OS services.
• Monitor system health, logs, capacity, and availability to proactively resolve issues.
• Support on-call, incident response, outage recovery, and root cause analysis activities.
• Collaborate with application, database, infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity teams to troubleshoot issues.
