Andersen Corporation is seeking a Windows System Administrator to manage and secure our enterprise Windows server infrastructure across on‑premises and Azure cloud environments. This hybrid role is based in Oak Park Heights, MN, and involves 24x7 on‑call support, patching, and automation development.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Windows systems administration, expertise with Active Directory, RD Services, DNS/DHCP, VMware vSphere, and Azure, plus scripting in PowerShell, Python, or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of enterprise Windows systems administration experience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, or 2025.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Azure services, and enterprise backup/recovery solutions.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments across on-premises and Azure.
• Monitor health, capacity, performance, and availability; perform patching and hardening.
• Support virtualization, on-call rotation, and incident response.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Support RDS environments, DFS namespaces, and data replication.
• Develop automation scripts and contribute to modernization efforts.
