Job summary

Dynamic Integrated Services is seeking an Applications Packaging Engineer to support enterprise Windows packaging for a large federal environment with VA's enterprise IT. You will own the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to production deployment, building reliable MSI/MST/MSIX packages and validating them at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience building silent MSI/MST/MSIX packages and testing on Windows 11.
• 1+ years IT system administration experience.
• Proficiency with PowerShell and/or CMD scripting.
• U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining Public Trust Clearance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build silent installation packages in MSI, MST, and MSIX formats and validate them on Windows 11.
• Engage with internal customers to gather packaging requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Perform end-to-end packaging activities: source validation, build, test, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues using ProcMon, MSI logging, and Windows Event Logs; identify root cause and fix.
• Query and modify Windows Registry as part of workflows.
• Participate in peer review of packages to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ensure all prerequisites and dependencies are accounted for in each solution.
