LTS is seeking an experienced Application Packaging Engineer to support enterprise Windows packaging and deployment for a large federal environment within the VA's enterprise IT. This role owns the full lifecycle of application packaging—from requirements gathering to building, testing, and deploying production-ready packages at scale.

You will build silent installation packages (MSI, MST, MSIX), troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to packaging standards across thousands of endpoints,

Formación

• 4–6+ years of hands-on application packaging experience.
• Experience with Flexera AdminStudio.
• Proficiency in Windows Installer and MSI technology.
• U.S. Citizen or eligible to obtain Public Trust with VA.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or CMD scripting.
• Experience with ProcMon and Windows Event Logs.
• Remote work experience and strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build silent MSI, MST, and MSIX packages and validate on Windows 11.
• Gather packaging requirements from internal customers and translate into scalable solutions.
• Lead end-to-end packaging: source validation, build, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues using ProcMon, MSI logs, and Windows Event Logs.
• Query/modify Windows Registry as part of packaging workflows.
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and standards.
• Ensure prerequisites, dependencies, and standards are included in every solution.
