Job summary

LTS is seeking an experienced Application Packaging Engineer to support enterprise Windows application packaging and deployment for a large federal environment. You will own the full lifecycle of application packaging, from gathering requirements through building, testing, and deploying production-ready packages at scale.

Build silent installers in MSI, MST, and MSIX, work with stakeholders to translate needs into technical docs, and troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues using ProcMon,

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of hands‑on application packaging experience.
• Deep familiarity with Windows Installer internals, including MSI tables, custom actions, transforms, and component rules.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and/or CMD scripting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build silent installation packages in MSI, MST, and MSIX formats and validate them through initial installation testing on Windows 11.
• Engage directly with internal customers to gather packaging requirements and translate them into technical documentation and solutions.
• Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues using ProcMon, MSI verbose logging, and Windows Event Logs.
