Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain Windows and Linux servers in production and non-production environments, focusing on availability, security, and performance. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, automation, and cross-team collaboration to deliver reliable IT services.

You will work with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), manage Active Directory access, and document configurations and procedures while adhering to security standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux servers.
• Understanding of server hardware and infrastructure service delivery.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory and user permissions.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow.
• Strong problem-solving under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows and Linux servers, ensuring stable performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with teams to aid service restoration during incidents.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Respond to system alerts promptly and resolve issues.
• Manage user access and permissions within Active Directory.
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure all systems comply with IT policies and security standards.
