Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Sr. Principal System Administrator in Tewksbury, MA to design, implement, and maintain secure environments for classified programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define computing requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions across DoD programs.

You will ensure security compliance (DFARS, RMF, NIST), maintain documentation, and mentor other admins. This onsite role may require travel up to 10% and certification within six months.

Qualifications

Active and transferable Secret clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
University degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
Experience administering Windows and RHEL servers and virtualization environments.
Experience with enterprise infrastructure services (AD, IAM, patching, virtualization, storage, backup).

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for Windows and RHEL environments, leading design and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with programs to deliver cost-effective hardware/software solutions.
Work with customers, engineers, storage/network teams to resolve infrastructure challenges.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance; monitor and improve systems.
