Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Desktop Support-Windows Operating System in Clinton, Iowa to provide end-user desktop support, troubleshooting, deployment, and repair for desktops, notebooks and printers. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma with strong customer service skills.

Applicants with an undergraduate degree or A+ certification are welcome, and minimal travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant experience in desktop support or similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate coursework preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• Solid client service skills and ability to troubleshoot desktops, notebooks, printers.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops / notebooks/printers.
• May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions.
• Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and takes corrective action.

Job Description

• Individuals here have a well-rounded knowledge of the policies and procedures for their work area.
• Their work may require discretion and independent judgment for non-routine matters. However, the primary focus of work activity is predominately routine.
• They may make policy recommendations to their managers and be an escalation point for less experienced team members.
• Performs basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops / notebooks/printers.
• May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions.
• Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, basic deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers.
• Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and takes corrective action.

Required Skills

• Typically requires 2+ years relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• Solid client service skills.
• A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required.
• Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Minimal travel, overnight domestic trips may be required.
• Personal reliable transportation

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $25-$35.55/hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
