Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Desktop Support-Windows Operating System professional to join our Clinton, Iowa team. The role focuses on basic troubleshooting, deployment, and repair of desktops, notebooks, and printers while providing solid client service.

Minimal travel may be required and on-site work in US-IA location is expected. Starting pay ranges reflect hourly compensation for US-based positions and will align with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops/notebooks/printers.
• Respond to calls after hours per leader instructions.
• Identify issues affecting end user experience and take corrective action.
• Escalate to senior team members when needed.

Job Description

• Individuals here have a well-rounded knowledge of the policies and procedures for their work area.
• Their work may require discretion and independent judgment for non-routine matters. However, the primary focus of work activity is predominately routine.
• They may make policy recommendations to their managers and be an escalation point for less experienced team members.
• Performs basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops / notebooks/printers.
• May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions.
• Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, basic deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers.
• Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and takes corrective action.

Required Skills

• Typically requires 2+ years relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• Solid client service skills.
• A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required.
• Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Minimal travel, overnight domestic trips may be required.
• Personal reliable transportation.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $25-$35.55/hour. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
