Amazon is seeking an experienced Windows Client Systems Engineer to maintain and enhance Windows desktop services, including virtual desktops and infrastructure. You will deploy applications, perform break/fix work, and ensure security compliance across desktop environments in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes automating services, mentoring junior staff, and delivering robust, highly available end-user computing for AWS government-related workloads in the Denver region.

Qualifications

Requires 4 of the following Windows OS related items: Active Directory, DHCP, PowerShell, ECM, GPO, DNS, 802.1x, disaster recovery/business continuity, AI, Automation.
Experience with OS imaging and patching.
Current, active US Government TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance Windows client services and deployment capabilities.
Handle application packaging and deployment; perform break/fix scenarios.
Collaborate with Security Compliance for desktop security controls.
Mentor junior engineers and drive automation and new service design.
