Job summary

Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers is seeking a Technical Support Technician to maintain and support our Windows-based IT infrastructure in Reno. The role focuses on hands-on support for end-users, AD, and networking, reporting to the IT Support Lead.

Responsibilities include configuring Windows workstations, managing AD, and assisting with Windows Server operations, with emphasis on security policies and ITSM ticketing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support experience in a Windows networking environment.
• Certifications preferred: Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate; CompTIA Network+; Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate; ITIL Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for Windows workstations and AD security policies.
• Manage AD user accounts, group policies, and access permissions.
• Assist with Windows Server administration and authentication.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, file sharing).
• Support Office 365 applications and integrate with Windows environment.
• Maintain and update IT documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
