Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an IT Support Technician for a Windows 11 migration project in White Salmon, WA. The role involves hands-on workstation upgrades, imaging, and end-user support in a fast-paced security-focused environment.

You will work closely with the onsite System Administrator and IT leadership, handling Tier 1/2 issues and documenting resolutions, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in Help Desk, Service Desk, Desktop Support, IT Support, or Technical Support.
• Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and ticketing systems (Zendesk or similar).
• Exposure to PC imaging, workstation deployment, OS migrations, and Active Directory is a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade user workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11 with imaging and deployment tasks.
• Assist with workstation configuration, deployment, and post-migration testing.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for hardware, software, connectivity, and Windows issues.
• Monitor and manage support requests using Zendesk and document resolutions.
• Collaborate with the onsite System Administrator and IT leadership to prioritize migration activities.
