Position Summary

As a Window Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining impact windows and doors at customer homes. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Perform service, repair, and adjustment work on impact windows and doors
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving:
• Water intrusion and leaks
• Caulking and sealants
• Window glazing
• Screens and screen systems
• Door and window hardware
• Sliding glass doors
• Install replacement parts and complete service-related repairs
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Manage inventory, materials, and supplies from a service truck
• Accurately document completed work and communicate updates to office staff
• Provide exceptional customer service during all service visits
• Proven experience servicing, repairing, or installing windows and doors
• Experience troubleshooting water leaks, glazing systems, hardware screens, caulking, and sliding glass doors
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage service calls
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely operate a company truck
• Ability to lift, move, and safely handle window and door panels
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Previous experience as a Window Technician, Door Technician, Glass Technician, or Service Technician is highly preferred
