Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Operator in West Virginia. The role involves fabricating and assembling components for final window assemblies across multiple production areas, using hand tools, saws, and fabrication equipment.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and participate in cross-rotation with other operators. Shifts include day and night with a starting pay of $17 per hour and a $2 per hour night differential.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret production data, productivity reports and written instructions.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to assemble window units.
• Lift windows onto build tables and roll racks.
• Move carts in and out of production areas.
• Operate saws and punches for woodworking tasks.
• Attach hardware with appropriate tooling.
• Operate stretch wrapping equipment and assist in production planning.
• Perform quality audits and participate in problem solving.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Participate in cross-rotation and help train others.
• All other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
